finalmente la mia tag preferita, se volete ascoltare un po si sano hardcore autoprodotto all italiana andate qui su last fm http://www.lastfm.it/music/coraggio+dell%27incoscienza/A+Morsi+E+Pugni+EP GOOD ITALIAN PUNK HARDCORE http://www.lastfm.it/music/coraggio+dell%27incoscienza/A+Morsi+E+Pugni+EP
And actual Hardcore is pretty lame in most cases. Not having anything in common with it is actually less embarrassing than if it did. Plus, I like Deathcore for it's melodramatic whiny teenager lyrics. You can't get that from other forms of Metal. Deathcore bands trying to act tough is silly. Not real Deathcore.
"I think we need to just call the variation of deathcore that people don't want to call deathcore "Prisoncore" because tbh that's where a lot of their white trash listener base is going to end up." I can get behind this. Half the fun of Deathcore shows is people watching. It's my favorite Metal subgenre by far, but 95% of the fanbase is dumb white trash.
>don't shave your neck >wear flatbrims and gym shorts >have nothing in common with actual hardcore >"I AM A TOUGH GUY! MMA FIGHT ME! MY DADDY BUILT ME, AN OCTA-GON!!!" > "GROOOOOOOOWWWWL" > just deathcore played by people who never grew out of high school football and don't like the name deathcore because it "sounds gay" > prisoncore
to everyone complaining that these bands aren't black flag, fear, minor threat, etc., go here -> http://www.last.fm/tag/hardcore%20punk. Hardcore punk isn't the main thing in hardcore anymore. It has evolved and changed into other things that have a similar name. And there's even bands in modern hardcore that punk fans can enjoy. Trapped Under Ice, Angel Du$t, Expire, and Turnstile have a fair amount of punky stuff in their music. ALSO, Punk, after all, is more about ideas and openness to things that aren't accepted by mainstream society, so Hardcore will almost always be Punk in spirit. Play nice.
BastiDrahtdurch must be autistic. apart from that, although i don't care much of the topmost of the top artists, it would be a sad thing to see just early 80s bands here - that'd mean the scene is dead and buried, archived in the annals of rock history.
Contrary to popular belief knowing that hardcore is a subgenre of punk does not mean you aren't with the times. As for evolving, yeah it's evolved quite a lot. Now we have bands like Comeback Kid and Counterparts, you know modern hardcore.

hardcore an offshoot of Hardcore Punk? What kind of BS is that. Hardcore stands for hardcore punk. I don't see any hardcore punk in the top artists here. Sure, I see artists with genres that have a hardcore influence in them, but I don't see any staight up hardcore punk bands. Where's Minor Threat? Bad Brains? MDC? D.R.I(early)?Agnostic Front(early)?Suicidal Tendencies(early)? Black Flag? Fear? 7 Seconds? Gorrilla biscuits? Jerry's Kids? Rich Kids on LSD?
And I know this is supposed to be the punk type of hardcore, but just ''hardcore'' can also refer to hardcore techno or hardcore hip-hop, making it even more confusing.
