A community coalition to support the reinstatement of the dearly beloved "Loved Tracks" and personal Playlists stations.

You've spent weeks, months, years listening to various stations and artists and playlists. Meticulously listening; banning tracks you don't care for, enjoying tracks you find catchy, and loving the songs you love. Finally you have created a beautiful collection of harmonies, and you enjoy playing your specially-crafted "Loved Tracks" station whenever you can. You've made friends and have discovered countless new songs through their playlists. And then one day, they are gone.

Sure, you can still SEE what's in your Loved Tracks station or in your playlists, but at the end of the day you don't come to Last.fm to make playlists; you come to Last.fm to listen to your favourite songs and foster new friends and tastes. That's why, Last.fm, we respectfully demand to have our stations back.

Please join this group to show your support for bringing back these great stations.

I will miss my loved tracks radio station (Join this group too!)

I have a solution for this IF you use Spotify. Go to this website: http://spotibot.com/playlist/#lastfm it automakes you a Spotify playlist, you can choose from your Last.fm 'Loved Tracks' or your recommendations!

I like the new group description jo4nny... I've listened to my mix station a few times, it's as broad and unselective as listening to my whole library (something I never did much of) and the odd new songs that work their way into it are pretty random but the odd one has been alright. Nothing like listening to the loved tracks and playlists of other users and my own though.

That's a good tip, jdjanze! How are people coping with the "My Mix" station rather than our beloved "Loved Tracks" station?

Everyone who wants their loved tracks, playlist and tag stations back should go download the free LFM player for chrome! I just started using it but so far it seems better than the standard last.fm radio - if you want you can play a specific song any time you like.

well as UK user I dont need to pay for just listening, that is of course a big advantage, so for UK/US/Dermany users there is solution/alternative to playlist - multiple user accounts. Just add your playlist to new account library. last.fm softvare offers easy swithing betveen users.

I thought they lost the plot with the "30 sec track" farce, but this truly takes the biscuit for ill conceived, "How to alienate your entire listener base" in an instant, utterly pointless ideas. We all search Lastfm to find music for our "loved" tracks and we all listen to other people's "loved" tracks stations for inspiration. What, really, is the point of these plans.

... a mixed radiostation should be the counter-value to keep me as a subscriber? Last.fm (CBS) is kidding, right?

lastfm will just become another "internet thing". nothing more. all features that made lastfm really attractive will be gone soon. no more loved tracks or playlists will be played - but i am still able to have a look at them - wow! instead you can get global tagged radio stations - and the very inventive mix station....come on guys you're not serious, right? give me something that will keep me subscribing......

Absolutely we want to keep these features! They are the reason I use last.fm!

Seriously, are they F-ing kidding? Mog.com offers downloads and on demand listening for the same price. I will cancel my subscription on Nov 16 if this policy doesn't change. Mog already kicks last.fm's ass, but I've continued to subscribe primarily because of the "loved tracks" feature. Seriously, you spineless bastards are owned by CBS. Pull some strings. If not, I sincerely hope last.fm fails miserably and goes out of business.
