If its not your calling to be interlaced with the evolving of hip-hop, then 'stop' is the inevitable solution.

When I say chopping bodys "Doesn't go down in the real world" I don't mean that it doesn't happen EVER, because it obviously does. I just mean that usually the people with a rational enough mind to get their music out to the masses don't EVER do anything like this. It takes dedication, work, and a whole lot of will power. These are three things that JUST DON'T REGISTER to homicidal maniacs. =p

@ Ellzey- I think the underground scene supports and perpetuates intelligent music and lyrics. That doesn't necessarily mean that underground Artists DON'T rap about "Gangster" shit, but I think overall the tone set by the underground artists comes from consciousness and being a REAL motherfucker. You can't really rap about chopping bodys up and be a real motherfucker, because we all know that shit doesn't really go down in the real world. Bragging, Boasting about money and cars and bitches, this is all shit we've all seen, and I doubt a real motherfucker really cares about any of that shit, they care about the things that are truly important, like Health, World Issues, Politics, and REAL critical examinations of the world around them. As opposed to, "Yeeee, I fucked a bitch, nigga you gonna get stitched" bla bla bla.

lmao ! This is one of the reasons I just don't brother with "Underground Hip Hop" fans. They don't know that Underground doesn't really effect your sound. You can rap about the same things 50 cent does (and people do, do this) and still be unknown. That's the difference between Underground and Mainstream RECOGNITION. At one time eminem was underground. Now he isn't. Whatever I still love listening to Hip hop.

Metal Rock- Immortal has so many different layers to his music, it is hard to pinpoint what it is you like about it. But off the top of my head I would try Sabac, Tech N9yne.. Murs, or maybe Ill Bill
