please join The decision to close radios to all countries except usa, uk and germany is completely unfair and is the way lastfm choose to dig their own graves: there will be a massive exodus of users. We want a better way to solve the problem of money, maybe more adsense, limit a quantity of songs per day, something. We want an explanation, we want to be lastfm users with the same rights around the world This group is not for insult, blame or curse. Is just to talk politely about this decission of the lastfm crew. Did we miss the answer for this often questioned “Why are these three countries excluded?” to radio what makes Germans, British and Americans different to the rest of the world??? the record-company bibiafrica, dealing with worldmusic is giving respect to other people & cultures – we would definately like to get a clear answer why you would like to make this difference!!! we want a free & fair for everybody!!

Best African blues comes from Mali. First band i recommend is definitely Tinariwen (Touareg roots music mixed with blues). Other must-listen artists are Habib Koité, Ali Farka Touré and Boubacar Traoré

For recommendations, just look at the charts and go listen to what you don't know yet: Tinariwen, Boubacar Traoré, Amadou & Mariam, Rokia Traoré, Salif Keita... It's not all desert blues though...
