so i guess people getting arrested by undercover for selling drugs and fights are common at massives. It just sucks when you see these things because it's a major buzz kill. Wanagethy, keep in mind bro, the parties down in socal end at 4AM and the main room for EDC is about 3 times bigger than the main room at POP. A show definitely not to miss out on if you're a fan of dance music.
Considering this was my first massive electro music event, I had a fuckin great time. Too bad that i got in @ 10 and the power went out at 12:40, while in the middle i passed out for a bit....I didnt see any fights or people getting arrested, all i saw was happy smiling people everyhwere :D
lol, yeah wanagethy, my night at pop could have been so much better. Come down to socal for EDC at the end of june. I guarantee you this event will blow your mind away. The venue is best venue there is for a massive, not to mention the ridicously sick lineup they have.
So i came all the way from LA excited for this event. When we got to the cow palace, i was pleased to find that the lines were actually moving really fast. The security was really relaxed for the most part and hardly searched anyone. The venue was amazing, but things just started getting worse and worse. Within 3O minutes of hanging out in the main room with my beer in hand, someone gets arrested right in front of me and my friends probably for selling drugs. Kaskade was the highlight of my night. I was right in the middle, but then all of a sudden two girls next to me start fighting out of no where, trying to scratch each others eyes out and tugging on each others hair like mad women. So, then i left to go see ferry and someone other guy in front us gets arrested, but this time they tackled the guy to the ground and cuffed him. And the worst part of the night, Tiesto's set got cut off after an hour because of a power outage. This was the biggest buzz kill of all not to mention people started throwing a whole bunch of stuff on stage. And to top it off we waited an hour to catch a cab back to the hotel. Overall i will probably never go to another event like this again. This turned out to be a ghetto ass party.
We were rockin out to DJ Dan + Donald Glaude when the power went out... We thought it was Glaude doing his weird kill-audio-to-yell-at-the-crowd things, but then the music didn't come back on, and the lights just kinda stayed off.
I feel sorry for kids who were rolling in the trance room! Must've been frightening having the music suddenly stop and having the lights suddenly go out! lol...
