Artists on Demand will have a show to promote the Spencer Bell Legacy concert where 100 Monkeys will be performing along with 5 other indie bands. Dr. Gary Hammer and Dan Graupner will be on and possibly 100 Monkeys.
From the site:
"It's that time again! The Spencer Bell Legacy concert held by ASCC now is being held April 24th @ Trees in Dallas, TX. We are here to promote the show and promote the live feed. Want to hear it before you get your hands on it? Tune in! Special guests Dan Graupner, Dr. Gary Hammer from the University of Michigan Adrenal Cancer Clinic, Jake from "The Kissing Club" and more announced soon."
The show is on this Tuesday, April 20 starting at 9pm and the link is here
We are adding some items to the raffle including some DVDs possibly signed by the actors (Jackson Rathbone, Ben Johnson, Ben Graupner), a Dread DVD that MAY be signed by Stevedores (Fearful is one of their songs played in the credits), and a few funsaver cameras that ALL the bands will be filling all weekend (like the disposable cameras that have been auctioned off on 100Monkeys tour). Raffle tickets are being sold at www.asccnow.com
Also, Dr. Gary Hammer, director of the Endocrine Oncology Program at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, will be a guest speaker. For more information, please go to www.asccnow.com or www.spencerbellmemorial.com
Two of the links were not correct
A couple of articles that interview Jackson on his projects Dread and The Last Airbender have come out recently. He mentions Spencer Bell and The Legacy concert in them.
The third article is originally on Fearnet and I cannot link it from work so here is it reposted on another site (I would go to Fearnet to see the correct sections highlighted). http://jackson-rathbone.com/2010/03/27/jackson-talks-dread-the-last-ai rbender/#more-3365
Indie bands blog has posted an article about the Spencer Bell Legacy concert. This is the first indie band site that has promoted the concert and it is my hope that they and other indie band sites will spread the word for not only the concert but the indie bands that perform. Please take a look and consider commenting. http://www.indiebandsblog.com/indie-bands-blog-round-up/tour-news/artists-supporting-a-cure-for-cancer-24th-april-1010-show
A video created by Jackson Rathbone and Will Schmidt has been posted to youtube. Spencer's song, Beautiful More So is used to promote the SBL concert in Dallas. Please go take a look. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuvBJ1m9kX8
