As the production team Bloodshy & Avant, Christian Karlsson and Pontus Winnberg were at the controls on a slew of Noughties pop hits, including Britney Spears' 'Toxic' and tracks for Madonna, Sugababes and Kylie Minogue.
Looking for success on the other side of the studio, the Swedish duo pooled their talent with U.S. songwriter Andrew Wyatt back in 2007 to become Miike Snow. The self-titled record from the three-man team became a surprise hit at the beginning of 2010, with early blog buzz and positive reviews drawing millions of your scrobbles.
The sunshine-pop of first single 'Animal' pushed it to the peak of Miike Snow's Last.fm chart with over 1.2 million listens, while later releases 'Black & Blue' and 'Silvia' now sit in second and third position. A succession of remixes and covers from the likes of Mark Ronson, Crookers and Tiga brought the group's smooth-as-glass pop to fans of dubby vibes and dancefloor electro, while thousands of you caught them at festivals including Roskilde in Denmark and EXIT in Serbia.
