My father managed to get the family tickets to this event, so when the concert was at hand we drove down quite early to see all the opening acts and eat french fries/donuts out of those travelling van/trailer things.
The opening acts were alright, but, in truth most bored me. I did like Crop Circle mainly for the song Mexican Cockfight and some choir/symphony from Calgary was cool. I forget what they were genre wise exactly.
But the real thrill by far was when ZZ Top took the stage.ZZ Top had some inventive suits on -- haha. Really shiny stuff. We sat quite far back, This was before I had gotten my glasses so it's a shame knowing I could have possibly seen better.
Although it didn't seem to matter to many people at this outdoor event. People seemed to shove their way upfront regardless of where they paid for seating. If I wasn't so polite, I'd probably have done the same thing. But I was kind of mad at people for doing that.
