Also, in regards to my vocals on our previous releases. I'll be the first to tell you, I hate my own vocals back then. But I've been practicing and honing my singing voice for the past 3 or 4 years, so please don't write us off just yet. You can hear that practice in our newest single (linked below) and even on our 2010 single "Something Wicked (That Way Went)"
I have never heard of music being "pointless" before. Music is art and we either like it or dislike it; if you happen to dislike something it does not make it pointless. Where on earth did you get the idea that liking a certain band/genre of music makes you "elite"? No offence, but I think that says more about you than anything else.
This band is kinda "The Emperor's New Clothes". Everyone is afraid to confess that he or she can't understand such a pointless music and becomes it's fan just to show that he or she is an "elite". What a shame.
Ha. So true. Steampunk IS cheesy but having seen AP in concert recently I like them and their sound/twist on the genre better than your group. Take my opinion anyway you wish to. No offense was intended.
Love these guys, I've been following them since they were a solo project and even saw them evolve into the band that Vernian Process is now. Joshua is a kind and intelligent man as well, especially because the music was already brilliant from the start. As soon as my budget allows me to I will order Behold The Machine and a T-shirt to show my support.
Oh, it's not the picture itself! It's just the transparency around the frame seems to be messing with last.fm's thumbnails, so it's off center and cut off on people's pages. No big deal, keep up the awesome work ♥
"Behold the Machine" is, simply put, a masterpiece of sonic resonance. "The Maiden Voyage" is breath-taking ambient music alluding to Vangelis at his best (Antarctica, Albedo 0.39 & BladeRunner).
I be wondering if Mr Pfeiffer is related to Chris Pfeiffer, who runs one of Victoria's (Australia) finest wineries? http://www.pfeifferwinesrutherglen.com.au/home/
