My buddies tell me that I should've waited
They say, \"I'm missing a whole world of fun\"
But I still love them and I sing with pride

  • I like the christian life as much as they do
  • The original version is by the Louvin Brothers
  • The original Gram Parsons version.
  • Hi guys, I'm a good ol' country boy living in the heart of England. And I've just discovered this great site. I love America, just love you guys. Keep it coming ani't gonna turn you off now I've found ye. You're gonna be playing 24/7. Much Love from the pretty countryside of England
  • GREAT TRACK......
  • I love this and all good authentic representations of Americana such as this song and in fact this whole excellent album represents.
  • Consider this bit of wisdom. It would apply to all those willing to stand for what they believe- not just mock others that believe differently. A man who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than him." (John Stuart Mill)
  • The irony is that so many would still look at the followers of Christ instead of to the man and His wisdom- carried forward for thousands of years. You may choose not to believe, but it is useless to mock those who do- despite their personal shortcomings. Ever hear of Saul/Paul? Probably not. Those who believe will always prevail. The Byrds also did "Turn, Turn, Turn" - straight out of Ecclesiastes -- kinda makes YOU wonder, huh?!%2520Turn!%2520Turn!%2520(To%2520Everything%2520There%2520Is%2520A%2520Season)?ac=the%20Byrds It wasn't "cool" back then either. In fact- many of the original followers of Christ died because of their faith.
  • Surely ironic? But still pretty good!
