If this is "one of the best trance projects ever", I wouldn't have much faith in this genre. Some tracks such as [track artist=System F]Needlejuice[/track] are interesting, but most show a lack of creativity. I can see how the repetitive hi-fi production may be perceived as catchy by some, but the lack of texture just comes off as bland and plain boring to me.
my fav out of the blue remix is the 2010 stoneface & terminal mix.... altho the newer Rafael Frost mix is really nice... but its only available in radio edit i think? would love to have an extended version to mix.. :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1ggBhRpg6k
Sorry for spamming, guys, but I started a blog recently devoted to downbeat chillout music and upbeat dance music. Some nice DJ mixes. It gets updated twice a day. Check it out here.
Out of the blue is a great song but for me the true genius of Ferry Corsten is shown in Insolation and Reaching Your Soul. Perfect tracks... I miss the times when the trance was more than just pop music that is today's trance with a few exceptions (for example Gaia - Aisha).
