Still Blue Still Turning is a New York City-based duo focused on the intersection of shoegaze, dreampop, and slow-fi. The band emerged in the fall of 2009 with a studio album entitled Simone. In June 2010 the artists reached back to the warmth of warped analog for their second release, a self-titled cassette. The band is currently working on an ambient project entitled American Artist, which will be released on disc by Hand Rolled Gold in April. American Artist will be followed by 12 inch singles of "Unstacked." Still Blue Still Turning is Ryan Brady and Ray Duer.

Ryan Brady is an artist studying at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan. His works include paintings, drawings, video, and most prominently, sculptures. Ryan's latest sculpture, which has made its way into many Still Blue Still Turning shots, is a two-ton, 10' x 10' x 12' sculpture of wood, steel, and stain. It stands on the grounds of Delanco in Tabernacle Township, New Jersey.

Ray Duer is a budding historian at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass. His work centers on Latin American history, a focus that became clear after traveling throughout the Southern Cone in 2009. He is currently writing a thesis on the movements for independence in Chiapas, Mexico, during the 1820s.
