'Cabinet', 'Noctambulant', and 'Incurso' are all Amazing, but I gravitate towards the oldest and newest release, 'Cabinet being a more visceral, less filtered work, a beautiful example of a debut release by a band, While Incurso, is the current Everest of their craft, the Mountain all men dream of climbing, matched only in heights by releases such as None So Vile (for it's own reasons), both Necrophagist albums, anything released by Death post Human, and a few others in the Tech Death World. 'Noctambulant' is a middle ground between their other two albums, and while it's great in it's own right, I prefer the extremes of SoP's mindblowing spectrum.
I see. I personally cannot stand this type of Tech Death. The first time I listened to it, I was like what the hell, it was with Ulcerate, and really I nearly killed myself after the discography I cannot stand this type of Tech Death lol. I prefer the "traditional" Tech Death like SOP, Gorod, Obscura, Arkaik, Decrepit Birth etc.
Why would you say that? Is it because I said Demilich sound like a Black Metal band, or because is it because I said you don't listen to Tech Death? To be honest I didn't go full sherlock and look into your library if you have any Tech Death scrobbles I just look at our taste meter comparison thingy.
Sure, if you think they're one of the best technical death metal bands, that's fair. Though, to say "They're the kings of the genre" and they're the #1 best technical death band is unbelievably idiotic, especially "they're the kings" LOL. Incurso is one hell of a great album, but aside from that they haven't released much to get excited about. Even then, I'd take other tech. death albums over Incurso.
I'm well aware of that, since you live in Norway, Christian is in Germany. However I can still hope. Hope is all I have, I missed you guys last or 2 years ago when you toured with Obscura, Gorod and Exivious because I wasn't into Death Metal back then to be honest.
