  • I think they got it back somewhat with Curve.
  • Without Mike Turner, this band lost all originality.
  • Being a 90s kid, OLP was probably my first rock band. I’m a huge fan of Mike Turner. His guitar work on Naveed and Clumsy was so innovative and original. Those riffs fit so well with Duncan Coutts “winding basslines” and Jeremy Taggart’s complicated but incredibly tasteful fills. As a band, I only really listen to OLP’s first two records (although “One Man Army” from “Happiness…” is another personal highlight). I cannot think of many other bands that played this style of rock so effectively. I look at these early OLP records and think “Damn… this band was tight!”
  • yeah spiritual machines is def there best. I listened to "In Repair" a lot in a recent stay in the hospital haha
  • A few weeks ago the only songs I knew by OLP were "Clumsy", "Superman's Dead", Somewhere Out There", and "Innocent". Now I realize that Spiritual Machines was their best album and am kicking myself in the teeth for it.
  • nice music!
  • Won't Turn Back is amazing! Love the new direction.
  • Sad that so few gave Curve a try, it's awesome. [2]
  • They put on a pretty good live show, seen then twice.
