If you think Jamelia as just a British "R&B" singer, remember that she's also the kinda artist who has done a song with Coldplay's Chris Martin and taken part in Band Aid 20. Here on her third album, she's obviously trying to hitch a ride on the recent Pop/Urban crossover trend like Rihanna and Nelly Furtado, and I must say that she has achieved the objective musically. There're some R&B-styled tracks and other New-Wave-oriented ones, and they all sound wonderful with her energetic vocals.
