Milkman was born in Monterrey, Mexico, the middle child of three boys. At the age of 3, he moved to Houston, Texas. At 13, he moved to Laredo, Texas where he continued to play the drums and started his first punk band called Mute.
Traveling back and forth from Monterrey to Laredo, at the age of 18, Milkman met Toy Selectah, who forms part of hip hop band Control Machete. Selectah invited him to work for his production crew, Sones del Mexside based out of Monterrey. Together, they worked on projects for artists such as Juanes, La Ley, RBD, Cabas, MIA, Sonidero Nacional….
Moved to Mexico City to start his own production company, Mucho Fresco. With that, he has worked with bands like She’s a Tease, Nina Dios, 3Ball MTY, Disco Ruido, Belanova and more. While producing music for these bands, Milkan has dedicated time to continue working on his solo project.
Milkman has shared the stage with Kanye West, Major Lazer, Groove Armada, M.I.A., 3ball MTY and many more.
The artist factory known as Monterrey, Mexico has churned out yet another gem. This one is a fan of dairy.
Milkman recently dropped the ragga club autotune hip hop track “Shawty,” onto the earth, which is about as fresh and smooth as recently-purchased milk.
Then get down on his non-stop milk imagery, which he’s not afraid to flaunt. He’s also named the Lecheman when he so chooses, he has a clothing line and an EP Lactose 1984, he calls his customized art work “lactosized,” and, whether it’s a coincidence from the Spanish translation of “i am,” it’s still pretty funny that his twitter handle is @soymilkman.
In 2013, his seven-track EP called Fresco was dropped in web.
In the end of that year, Milkman released his new mixtape called Milkstape
