i'm not including generic break-up or unrequited love tunes.
the type of songs i am interested in for this list depict different levels of twisted or fucked up romance.
only yr ugly and yr disease, plz.
NOTE: the entries aren't ranked but pretty much meant to be heard in this order:
1. Big Black | Precious Thing
"I would like to wrap your hair round your neck like a noose
I would like to wrap your legs around my neck like a lock
You are my precious thing, thing of speed and beauty
You are my precious thing, as long as you remain beneath me..."
2. Arab Strap | Love Detective
"Eventually, I had to stop reading it because I started to feel sick. So I put everything back the way I found it, shut the drawer, and phoned you. See, I don't know what to do. I keep having fantasies about leaving her dictaphone under the pillow. Or following her when she goes to work. …

That was so fucking awesome.
Sorry to everyone who was in the first line and had to endure my headbanging. Namely, the guy to my right side who didn't move a finger the whole concert (except when his jersey fell on the floor), and the guy to the left side, who was hitting on the girl immediately next to me on my left side, who seemed to enjoy the concert more than him and danced. (Seriously, he seemed to start moving only because he was jealous that she and I were dancing so much. Well, she was dancing, I headbanged myself into drunk-like state. Or maybe that was the passive weed smoking? I dunno.)
Martina Topley-Bird was a "warm-up" "band", but, needless to say, she was an event on its own.
I don't know her songs, so her setlist is a mystery to me, and I didn't tweet like a retard after every song, but I'm pretty sure this was our setlist (copy/pasted from somewhere):
1. United Snakes

Flat of the Blade
Girl I Love You
Red Light Means Go
Safe From Harm
Splitting the Atom

Last Days On Earth
This Love Affair
Girls and Boys
In Between Lines
I Just Can't Live a Lie
And after an hour of reading old Xanga entries and comments, I could use a couple shots of whiskey and early bedtime.
I'm lost in a world and I don't know if it's mine. It's somewhere in between here and there. Oh well, I'm off to see if I can find Common Reaction at Best Buy. Ciao.

HOF 2008 top-thirteen artists in tasza's humble opinion:
I don't think if I can find proper words to describe this concert, but at least i will try my best:) First of all, it was not a gig in a traditional meaning of this word. During it I couldn't get rid of an impression that I was in a weird theatre. The female dancers looked as if they picked their clothes from the wardrobe randomly (there were smart golden dresses along with... socks and old-fashioned hairstyles). So did Casey Spooner with his leather shorts, red gloves, blue knee-lenght socks, hats and an umbrella:) Anyways, you can see it here:
They were playing songs from Odyssey and the upcoming album mainly. However, there was also a time for Emerge. Luckily, (differently from the Main Stage) artists playing on the Tent Stage had a possibility to sing an encore. …
