It looks like a some other compilation of Atmospheric / Depressive Black Metal, Funeral Doom, some Death Doom and simply interesting bands like An Autumn for Crippled Children or Void of Silence.
I think It could be possible that for someone few this "Journal" will seems helpful...
I stopped to add any groups in the spring of 2011.
By the way, I have listened all these bands and I have the favorite song from each of them, you can see it in my playlists, thanks.

The idea is to go to the page of your number one artist, and follow the link of it's number one similar artist, then repeating that for this artist and so on, noting down each artist as you go. Do this until you've got to 50 artists (not including your number one). If you get any repeats, just go to the second similar artist or the nearest one that you haven't already had.

Jul 10 2009, 0h45 por AsgrimmAs the title says: this is my complete music collection, well, the part of it I physically own at least. I'm too lazy to start adding lots of stuff to rateyourmusic of discogs, as that would take ages with the amount of more or less obscure releases I own. Thus, I've decided to throw this list on last.fm. I'm doing this mainly for my own convenience, but feel free to comment anyway.
- Formatting: artist - release - format & additional info.
- Order: alphabetical, then chronological by artist.
- Artists releasing music under their own name (for example Bob Dylan) have been arranged according to their last names.
- Split releases have been listed once for each artist.
- More info about anything metal enough to be included on metal-archives.com can be found here: click.
- I think I still forgot stuff, but I'm too lazy right now to verify that, as it would be a rather time-consuming process.
(V.E.G.A.) - Alienforest - A Sick Mind's Hologram Tape

Jan 25 2009, 14h10 por MeatbreakHow's your 2009 going? Animal Collective have brought on a heatwave pretty early on in the year huh? Merriweather’s where it’s at, properly sunny and free-spirited and a bleak-month mood-lifter. Those dual Crippled Black Phoenix albums are pretty special, really. If you weren’t quite sure of 'A Love of Shared Disasters', then this might be the thing that really sucks you in to this band. Spreading their massive post-rock vistas over a wider area that brings in a bit more country, a bit more found sound sampling, a bit more of a groovier riff, a bit of stoned Doorsy pulse. The Doors have cropped up in Golden Animals 'Free Your Mind And Win A Pony', which is pretty much a Morrison/Manzenera tribute, but respectably so. More throwback action from The Dutchess & the Duke who have produced an heroically rocking Rolling Stones record of their very own. The Blank Dogs 'The Fields' cassette on Fuck It Tapes is way way cool, all the surfy garage psych(o) rock’n’ roll you could ask for…
Fev 6 2008, 4h45 por Immortal CIn all my years of listening to Black Metal and Metal as a whole, I haven't heard many things as depressing as this. Nihilistic Purity is so utterly bleak it is almost unbearable. I happened to come across this release while searching for information on Austere's future plans, and oh how lucky I am to have found them.
Lyrinx are a relatively new band from the U.K. Founder 'L' has recruited fellow band mates Brennuvargr on vocals, Lentus on bass and Ego Exitium on drums to help realise his dream. What we have here is emotion at its purest form. This is more than just music, this touches a place deep inside that wishes to cry out for help.
The music in this release may not be anything completely new to the genre, but the execution is amazing. The guitars are at the forefront of the music, which allows you to become lost in the waves of sound. While some bands may have a habit of going from a great riff to a mediocre one in no time. …
