Kraftwerk disowning their early work seems completely idiotic considering all the brilliance and innovation happened in those early albums... Everything post Autobahn is just this cold, banal wave of uninteresting synth bullshit which alot of very awkward white people love to praise.
The reason why people are saying that Kraftwerk is "more important than the Beatles" is because Kraftwerk was so ahead of their time in regards to electronic music. In the 1980s, nobody was creating music like them, so they set the foundation for electronic music. However, I personally think the phrase "more important than the Beatles" is a bit of an exaggeration, even though i personally enjoy Kraftwerk more than the Beatles.
Seriously, how the fuck can people compare an electronic pioneer band with one of the most influential rock band in the history? One of the most stupidest comparison i have ever seen. Both have a big important and essential role in the music history and both are comparatively widely different to compare them each other. You can not compare anything just because it's a 4 men band, that's bullshit!
