Delete any duplicates, add up the number of entries on your list and this will give you some idea of how eclectic your listening habits are. A score of 9 represents an extremely unvaried musical taste while a 160 represents an extremely varied one.'

There was so many animal tracks to to choose from that I needed some kind of theme to filter through them all. Eventually, I came up with this...
According to Chinese legend, the twelve animals quarreled one day as to who was to head the cycle of years. The gods were asked to decide and they held a contest: whoever was to reach the opposite bank of the river would be first, and the rest of the animals would receive their years according to their finish.
All the twelve animals gathered at the river bank and jumped in. Unknown to the ox, the rat had jumped upon his back. As the ox was about to jump ashore, the rat jumped off the ox's back, and won the race. The pig, who was very lazy, ended up last. That is why the rat is the first year of the animal cycle, the ox second, and the pig last.

Jul 9 2010, 8h06 por JazzmanstereoMy friend is getting married in August, so for his stag we spent a week cycling and camping in Suffolk and Norfolk followed by a weekend on the broads.
During the week 3 of us spent cycling we only had a little radio to listen to and for some reason decided Katy Perry's California Gurls (feat. Snoop Dogg) would be the soundtrack to the week. I can't say any other current pop song sticks in my mind, so that week cycling will always be associated with that weeks UK number 1.
On the Friday we met up with a bunch of other awesome people for our weekend on the broads. We went through two boats, thankfully they both had cd players with an aux for mp3 players.
Top tune for that weekend has to be Bongo Bong by Manu Chao. We had the most beautiful sunny weather all week, so just imagine cruising down the broads in a boat full of cool people having a fair few drinks. Magic!
Some other memorable music from that wonderful weekend: The Black Album by Jay-Z, The Smiths, Ian Dury and the Blockheads, Ella Fitzgerald, Miles Davis, MM. …

Jan 10 2009, 23h07 por dirkpaulLast month I downloaded:
1. It Still Moves by My Morning Jacket.
Z and Evil Urges are moving higher and higher on my playlist, so I'm going further back in history.
2. Greatest by Ian Dury and the Blockheads.
I've always liked the biggest heads, now I'm completing my collection.
3. Welcome To The Pleasuredome by Frankie Goes to Hollywood.
Mostly a sign of the time, but it was a kind of anchor in the eighies.
4. Time To Pretend EP by MGMT.
Only album available on Emusic by them, mostly downloaded to decide if I should buy their very hyped album. Not sure yet.
Also, a few more tracks from Shaft by Isaac Hayes to complete my 65 monthly downloads.
