Once you see him live, you won't understand why he's not a legend outside of Atlanta. The first time I heard him was on an obscure FM station in Atlanta and the song was "Lenore" off of his first solo LP- "Lost at Sea", I instantly got him and was hooked. One of my favorite all-time albums. The remake of that song on his second album, "Swim in the Wind" an import on Virgin Records had a remake of Lenore which didn't at all measure up and neither did that album although it's still decent. One of his "more recent" kickass songs is "Vista Cruiser" of of the "Elevator" album which is also excellent. I need to get off my poor lame ass and throw down some cash to by the rest of his cd's that I don't have on vinyl. His collaboration cd "Guitar Party" with Henry Kaiser is a great rocking cd and has an excellent remake of "Lenore" which is a masterpiece song by a guitar master and hell of a nice guy. You should also check out his new cd with "Supreme Court" called "SunTex" -F_ck the other Glen!

Ah, those were the days-- watching Glenn and the boys at the L5P pub and other places around Atlanta. Watching the keyboard guy do hand-stands on his keyboard-- feet touching the ceiling. Glenn in his sweat-band and knee pads shredding and bouncing. Great music from a great guy. Thank you, Glen.

I used to see this guy live in Worcester Mass. in the early eighties. He was great in a club setting and he was easy to talk to. He showed me his Gibson guitars and his effect rack. What a great sustain he got out of those LS6 guitars. When he played with his band with the keyboard player it was something that really rocked.

Yeah, baby!!! Glenn RULES!!!!!! I first saw him around 1982 in Potsdam, NY while I was in college and then again around 1997 in Worcester, MA. Then I moved to NC and saw him in Boone, NC in 2001 (just a few days before 9/11), and then he was a last minute replacement at Progday one year. I love that he has full tracks here!! I HATE that he's often confused with Glen.
