"All Things Must Pass", or be passed. Just like the cold Winter night we came in out of the cold and heard this album for the first time. A jug of wine was passed along with the Peace Pipe. George took us on an unforgettable sojourn I still remember.
Good point. George himself has said that he didn't write songs before the Beatles. During that early period he had a unique opportunity to hone his craft while playing in the band. Would he have developed had it not been for John and Paul? Maybe, but we can't ever know. What we do know is John, Paul, and George have all written many amazing songs.
He wasnt ever under-rated.He was what he was....a great solo artist and a contributer to the Beatles. In what way was he under-rated?He was very successful as a solo artist....no doubt, but if anyone is deluded enough to think he would have made it on his own without Lennon/McCartney....get your bumps felt! They made the 60's....and they made George Harrison....but he definitely capitalised on what he learned!
