The first of these Saturdays featured Na Fianna. The band is formed with Argentinean musicians with deep roots in the Celtic music scene of Argentina.
They toured the west coast of Ireland in 2004 with such performers as Frankie Gavin and Sharon Shannon, receiving numerous good reviews by the local press.
This was the last show of the band with the current line-up, due to two of their members who are leaving to settle in Ireland. The remaining musicians are Alejandro Sganga, Xandru Reguera and Matías Espinosa.
They have released two albums so far: Music and Songs from Ireland and Flamin' Tunes.
They were awesome! In between songs they commented on the roots of each song and genre, why they were played with different instruments and most of all they showed a lot of joy and love for their music.
