8. Dona Dimitru Siminica
I know very little about this guy, apart from that he used to be a Romanian wedding singer. Not bad music if you're into that sort of thing, but I'm pretty sure I'm not.
8. HaBanot Nechama
An interesting idea, but flawed through false advertising if nothing else. Three Israeli girls singing acapella and with a spot of acoustic backing at times, all very reminiscent of The Puppini Sisters. Sadly, a lot of idiots seem to think they're performing reggae, so clearly the Andrews Sisters (originators of the entire thing for the purposes of the argument) were from Jamaica and begat Bob Marley.
Nonetheless, it's not bad music, but I will take the Puppinis over these three.
8. Elena Paparizou
Elena doing dance-y stuff is terrific. Elena doing rock-y stuff isn't great at all. Sadly, the album that's out at the moment is the latter. Skip it and hope she returns to her strengths soon.
