Great performance at The Union Chapel tonight. Paul playing more drums than usual. Like the way they're adding little extra notes into the songs too. A Thousand Little Downers, Curtis Mayfield's 'Move on up', 'Velcro' and 'Diorama' my particular highs. Chop Chop – go check em out.
"Snowman" is such an underrated song! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIzhGNOor7E... what is it you are so afraid of? gotta hang on if you're letting go...it's just a power trip.... if I could pin my hopes on you, with a blindfold... not saying it's all come to nothing it's all come to something... must try harder... :)

Can someone please tell me why Bell X1 are not bigger than they are in England? Such a great band with a great sense of humour and big talent. It's a crying shame so it is. Of course it was a great seeing them live again, this time at the small but elegant Bush Hall. They did quite a bit from Bloodless Coup, which I'm loving. A slowed down Rocky and a very noisy Velcro two of my standouts from the setlist I think… Top night. Top band.
I agree about Flock but I do think that Blue Lights has a bit more than 4 good songs. Granted, it has a couple of slow burners that don't really go there like Eve or Lamposts but it's still worth holding on to. Oh, and top night at the Shepherds Bush Empire tonight. The lads did good, again...
