  • ATR was on the Comp with Skrewdriver etc. because First Floor Records was a sub-label of Rock-O-Rama Recs, the Labelboss was the same and he was putting out Compilations how he wanted it, not asking any Band. Songs of the Wolf was originally released in 1984 on Tape independantly, in 1986 it was released on Vinyl by the said FFR.
  • The point isn't that people stop listening... Listen to the music if you want (as I do). The point is to be aware of the political point of view behind the music, and if you are so inclined, to guard yourself against that point of view. It doesn't detract from the beauty of the art.
  • nobody's whining, just pointing out something that a lot of people don't know. tony wakeford certainly hasn't gone to the trouble, just quietly stopped selling it and hoped that no one would ask too many questions. and trust me, there are many who care enough to not listen to or support ignorant racism.
  • stop whining, fag below me.
  • Caligari is right, ATR were actively right-wing...they appeared on this National Front benefit comp during their short existence: http://www.discogs.com/Various-No-Surrender/release/611025 Tony has renounced his past membership in the NF and disavowed politics, and this is why you can't buy the ATR disc in his online store anymore. I just find it disappointing that this band still gets circulated by post-punk fans who have no idea that the band was on a comp alongside Skrewdriver.
  • it's really great!
