"Not surprised to see groups like Boards of Canada " indeed I think Boards of Canada is probably the most INTP music you can imagine (and if you read their interviews you can see these guys are probably INTP, they don't like fame or crowd etc.) : complex, logical, emotional, some kind of "cosmic" music... it makes my brain feels so good haha...

The Socionics INTp is not the Myers-Briggs INTP. Socionics and Myers-Briggs are both based on Jung's 8 personality types and 16 subtypes, and both claim to correspond to the same set of Jungian subtypes. They also use the same letters, except that in Socionics, the j/p distinction means something different than the Myers-Briggs J/P distinction. The Myers-Briggs INTP matches Jung's introverted thinking type with extraverted intution, and for Socionics, the same Jungian type is identified as an INTj. So, Socionics INTjs belong here, but Socionics INTps belong in the group for INTJs. In Socionics, j/p identifies whether your dominant function is judging or perceiving. For Myers-Briggs, J/P identifies whether your preferred extraverted function is judging or perceiving. This makes no difference for the extraverted types, which are the same in Myers-Briggs and Socionics, but it switches introverts on the J/P preference.
