The Lord of the Rings, the magnum opus of J.R.R. Tolkien has influenced generations of readers all over the world and still keeps on captivating new fans. The Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra now evokes the legend of friendship, loyalty and courage amidst the battle of good and evil as created by Tolkien.
The concert is a continuation to The Lord of the Rings Symphony which the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra performed in Spring 2009. This time the music will be joined by the first film of the trilogy - The Fellowship of the Ring.
