appears so, yes. there's been a lot of talk of the faddish nature of social networking, social network fatigue etc and not just recently. yet, they are still going strong. this is an interesting list showing myspace was still number one in 2008, with facebook close in second, probably surpassing it by now. twitter had the biggest rise, unsurprisingly, due to its popular format. there was always a need for people to stay in touch and i don't think that's going to go away so easily. personally, i never had a myspace or a facebook account (never saw the point) and i only use twitter for evil(tm). i'm s000 awesome.
