    Agree!! A great soundscape. Or just a masterpiece. So simple but a play with the emotions. Young death is too short but fantastic too. I like the simple beat.. But. I´m happy now.

  'Nightmarket' is quite good, but 'Young Death' feels like Burial verging on self-parody, it feels hokey and forced. I might be alone in feeling this, but I really think there has been a sharp decline in the quality of his work after Kindred.

    Kindred is definitely his peak, but Truant / Rough Sleeper and Rival Dealer are excellent in their own right.

      I do like Truant/Rough Sleeper, because it has a little of Kindred's hard-hitting gravitas (although obviously not to the same extent). Rival Dealer replaced that gravitas with mawkish sentimentality. There's some interesting musical ideas, but Rival Dealer is where his 'guardian angel' persona was ratcheted up to 11, which I personally can't stand. To each their own, though! I'm not gonna argue subjectivity, just wanted to vent a little.

    Это скорее всего не музыка,а больше саундизайн."Музыка" Бэриала является всего лишь вырезанными кусочками вокала из чужих песен и трансформированные под себя опять же вырезки из чужого материала с помощью обработки эффектами в аудиоредакторе.Кроме басс линии :)

  New Burial is never underwhelming. Yes we have to wait an awfully long time for new stuff to pop up, but when it does it's always am amazing experience to see what direction he is taking his music this time around. Hopefully the new EP is the start of a few more releases (or even an LP?) over the next few months like the Kindred EP was.
