Selia is a unique character. Usually this artist takes you to classic landscapes through interpretations of Monteverdi, Caccini, Strozzi, Purcell, Handel and many more. Authentic passion for classic early Italian song and baroque music. Selia’s voice is dark velvet which often is laced with the ultimate electronic sound. Imagine a mixture of classic aria with electronic punk; that’s Selia sometimes. It’s a storm of soft clouds and electric flashes. Probe of it is SEIRENS, a collaboration between SELIA and DJ SISEN along with several support members (is the soundtrack of the latest Japanese cyber-goth scene). On the other hand, Selia also sings in some Rock bands. The most famous rock group Selia’s join is BUCK-TICK (japanese rock band) singing as counter tenor in their album “Tenshi No Revolver” (BMG/Funhouse 2007). Selia’s music range style is wider than a baroque fan (with black lace on the tips) it goes through classic, electronic, rock or wherever the next collaborations with a DJ takes it.
