Kevin Michael “Toby” McKeehan was born October 22, 1964 in Fairfax, Virginia. He is professionally known as Toby Mac, is a Grammy Award winning artist, producer, and a songwriter. dc Talk was his first music group. He stayed with them from 1988 until 2000. He has had a successful solo career with the release of three studio albums. Momentum was in 2001 , Welcome to Diverse City was in 2004, Portable Sounds was in 2007,and City On Our Knees - Single in 2009 ,as well as two remixed versions of his first two albums, titled Re:Mix Momentum and Renovating Diverse City. “Made to Love,” and, “Lose My Soul,” are just two of his six #1 hit singles. Alive and Transported, are on his live concert CD+DVD combo album which was released in 2008 and received the Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album at the 51st Grammy Awards in 2009. His 4th studio album, named City On Our Knees, will be released on Feburary 9th, 2010
