The Ohms are a mix of reggae, rock, and many other styles combined in a tasteful mix of quality frequencies for the masses to enjoy. Their vocals bring a strong sense of awareness and conciousness and their music brings fans of all genres together. All around the world reggae music is growing in popularity. The Ohms provide a passionate and authentic way of bringing elements of popular reggae and world music from around the globe and integrating them into american popular music styles. The Ohms not only allow you to listen to great music, but to feel great music and to inspire conciousness.

The Debut Self Titled Release from The Ohms. From Cincinnati OH., This Reggae/Rock 4 piece has played with the likes of Steele Pulse, Barrington Levy, Soldiers of Jah Army, The Movement, Pato Banton and many more!

This Self Titled Release is their first effort recorded in Hollywood CA. and produced by Dito Godwin (produced for No Doubt, O.A.R., Motley Crue ect…)

10 songs that touch alot of different genres and blend grimey dancehall and roots reggae w/ modern american and other worldly styles.

Album Reviews:

-Brian Baker (Cincinnati City Beat Magazine)

“The Ohms self titled debut bristles with local energy but shines with major label luster. From the mellow groove of “Evereything” to the rock steady toast of “Here I Come” to the Spin Doctors island thunder of “Rosemary Tea” to the infectious Dancehall snaps of the albums first single “Pipe Down” The Ohms boast a sonic verve and musical command to rival 311 or Pepper.”

Saw your post on The Hippos page, I actually really like your stuff. It's kind of like a Sublime / Slighty Stoopid feel with a bit more of a ska pace. Keep it up, I can dig it.

Your tactic worked and I listened...and really, I feel your music needs a lot more variety in speed, instrumental, and voice range. If you are trying to go for "higher consciousness" show it in your MUSIC not so much your description of your group. It might be in the lyrics but it is not resonating.

Why does everyone complain so much on this website? Its not a big deal if they advertise their band., for it is a music website after all.

Well hello there... This is Jason (vox/guitar) of Darkest Ritual, we do kind of a Sabbathy, Soundgardeny, Alice in Chains type thing, but... different. Anyway, I saw you in the I'll Listen to You if You Listen to Me group. Interesting to hear your kind of sound coming out of Cincinnati... I spent a couple years there when I was a kid. It's a good place, <3 Skyline Chili! Anyway, I like the two free tracks. All of our stuff is always free. The first album is available through our page, and we are releasing another one soon, project is probably 65% of the way complete. I'll keep you posted, if you'd like! You should make the rest of the tracks free downloads, too! Cheers, man! Jason

Love it but need higher quality recording to want to listen repeatedly. Also, your "sounds a lot like" did get me to this site, so I say it works. Always looking for another Streetlight Manifesto. Now I'll have to find out if that's your real accent because if not . . . well, I'd feel like a sucker to listen to a fake reggae accent. (Be yourself or quit.)

I came on here to bitch at first about how you have to post on every other band's page your link, but obviously it worked because it got me here to your page and listening to your music and I have to say, you guys aren't too shabby. I like Wish It Would Rain. That track should be free!!

I can't believe you advertised your band by saying "it sounds a lot like this one". Your band is that cripplingly unoriginal?
