TheBufferZone is Jonathan Hornik an underground electronic artist from Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Jonathan Hornik was born in Albany NY USA in 1981. He moved to Israel when he was 3 years old. got his first nylon string when he was 6 but started playing only at the age of 13 because the guitar was to big for him. Jonathan started out as a Doom Metal and death metal player with the Jerusalem band Hesped (1995-1999). he was preforming all over Jerusalem at the age of 16 and had female fans :) Jonathan Joined The Song Writer Tamir Gidon as Bass player In 2004 and then became the lead guitar player of the band Darbejin. Jonathan prefomed on stages all over Israel for 5 years with Darbejin. In july 2009 Jonathan Hornik Was Chosen to be Steve Vai’s personal translator on the Alien Secrets Guitar Masterclass preformed in Israels most important music hall by Steve Vai himself. Jonathan didn’t have much work as a translator but he had the rare chance to change Steve Vai’s batteries on the stomp pedals that kept dying and of course the amazing minute and 30 seconds of fame when Jonathan Hornik And Steve Vai Jammed together live with a playback in D!!! since that evening Jonathan decided to devote his life to guitar and he is now practicing very seriously with several amazing guitar heroes from Israel. Jonathan is going to upload many vids so you can see the progress. Jonathan has a mastar piece Album in his head as a solo player and will be recording in the next few months . then Jonathan will be touring preforming worldwide.
