Welcome the new pop/punk/rock band from Los Angeles, the happy problem, featuring vocalist/guitarist and award-winning songwriter Sam Shaber, former Ultramen and Good Morning Kiss bassist Pedro Porto, wildman lead guitarist James Kloeppel, and drummer Nick Adams, originally from San Diego-based band Arimathea. The debut EP, soon to be released on Brown Chair Records, and produced by Ethan Allen (Better Than Ezra, Luscious Jackson, Daniel Lanois, Gram Rabbit), also features members of Gnarls Barkley and The Fray. Advance tracks have already been raved about by producers on “Heroes,” “Ugly Betty,” “Star Trek” and “Transformers,” and you can listen for tracks on the CW’s new drama, “Privileged,” as well as various shows on MTV and E!.
