The Cure’s 1981 album Faith is the group’s fourth release. This album has a darker tone compared to earlier works by the band and can be said to be a “gateway” album between the minimalistic post-punkness of Three Imaginary Boys & Seventeen Secondsand the wall of sound synth-goth of Pornography.
