The quartet begun the activity in 2002. To Bartek Florczak (guitar), Tomek Pawlikowski (bass) and Radek Malinowski (drums) - partners who had been playing together already in another band, joined Michal Szmidt (guitar). Since than the band had started to work, enjoy the music and exercise the sound for the satisfaction of being inside the noise.
Two demo tracks, recorded in Mariusz Pikor’s “On The Roof” Recording Studio occured in Polish Radio in a “Night Of A Soundscapes” broadcast by Piotr Kosinski.
In November 2006 Tale Of Diffusion debuted in MINMAX - a legendary broadcast by Piotr Kaczkowski.
The band had played several concerts in Pabianice and Lodz. In “Hilus” student’s club they performed few audiovisual shows which were the combination of a spatial music and a moving picture.
The common inspirations of Tale Of Diffusion members generate an open-structure instrumental music - a boundless river of sound which comes from many different springs.
During summer 2006 the band sent their demo pack to some of the progressive record labels. One of them is planning to issue Tale Of Diffusion debut album after the holiday season this year.

W nocy z 7 na 8 listopada w Programie 3 Polskiego Radia w Nocy Muzycznych Pejzaży zapowiedziano, że wkrótce ukaże się nowa płyta zespołu i zaprezentowano 2 nowe kawałki-moim skromnym zdaniem-rewelacyjne. Nowa płyta będzie się nazywać Adventures of Mandorius (The Bird).
