Sleeping, Dreaming is an experimental, lo-fi/ambient, concept band in which the music is built around the sound; formed in 2008, Jacksonville, FL by Ray Willson. Elements of post-rock, video game soundtrack, jazz, math-rock, indie, and electronica can be heard throughout the noisy music.
Between the summers of 2008 and 2009, Ray Willson vigorously wrote, compiled, recorded and destroyed numerous songs; 6 of which he put together and released on the Sleeping, Dreaming EP. After sending this out to numerous blogs, websites, and only one label, he decided to leave these songs and focus on creating a more beautiful and eccentric tone throughout his songs.
Willson now searches for more members to accompany him as he prepares for live shows; some of which will include videos, setting, atmospheric manipulation, industrial fans, mist/rain, accurately timed lighting and theatrical dramatizations.
