Founded in 2011, See You In The Morning is a post-rock band originating from the San Antonio/Austin area in Texas, U.S.A. Their first EP released in April 2012 and was entitled “ICHI”, with the title originating from its Japanese definition. Their style can be described as an eclectic drive into the world of post-rock. Their influence comes from metal and rock alike, with even the drummer, Austin, coming from a style of jazz. The youngest of the group, Alex S., is the only one without a beard. This is commonly argued to be as a result of his sub-masculinity to the rest of the artists, but science recently suggests that it’s actually a development of a “hypermasculinity” that is heavily evident through the groups music. The band is scheduled for recording of their new EP in late January with no name announced.
