Saunabur plays bittersweet, mellow and sometimes quite melancolic indie-pop, which should be reserved to rainy scandinavian days (or rainy other places). Saunabur is Happy DYI (Do It Yourself). Lovely Home-fi.

Saunabur consists of a dynamic duo; on one side: singer, guitarist, songwriter Sune Grønlund Nielsen, and on the other side: songconstructor, beatmaker, mixer Rasmus Rune Larsen.

Saunabur have been composing and recording songs since 1995. Using the name Coinzidenze. 2 demo tapes were recorded in 1995 and 1997, respectively, and in April 2002 the first full length demo CD, "sad to be ok", was recorded using the current name, Saunabur. The entire CD was recorded, mixed, and produced in Sunes two-room apartment in Copenhagen. It took approximately 3 years to finish the album, but this long timespan also tells something about the intentions - saunabur is primarily a spare time fun-project.

In 2004 Saunabur gathered a few friends in a small practise room at Amager. Here they recorded 5 lovely songs during the summer. The material were thrown into a music washing machine, two years went by, and finally in 2007 Saunabur could present the long waited concept EP "On The Cover Undercover".

In the future Saunabur might invent more musical constructions - who knows!
