Simple honest songwriting of this kind is the base without which modern music is lost. Rich House is the guardian of the flame for his generation.

Rich House is a singer-songwriter originally from Birmingham, England, whose unique brand of melancholy acoustic rock takes influence from a variety of artists and genres, from Led Zeppelin and The Beatles, through Tim Buckley and Nick Drake to Radiohead and Coldplay, with a smattering of pop sensibility thrown in for good measure. Having spent the tail end of 2008 writing new material in New York, Rich returned to the UK in 2009 to record and perform around the country.
Rich moved from rural south Birmingham to Central Manchester in 2003, and spent most of the last 5 years performing and honing his talent, both as
the lead singer in bands and as a solo artist. Following the recording and release of a self funded and self produced album change of priorites with his band thehouseband in 2006, Rich decided to dedicate himself more to his solo efforts, and has been working in earnest ever since. the culmination of these endeavors have included recent headline shows and a support slot with English rock group Boy Kill Boy, as well as numerous radio appearances.
With further touring and recording planned for 2010, Rich is relishing the heavy and frantic workload ahead of him.
