tagging raison d'etre with 'spooky' 'soothing' is the same attitude of tagging ambient music with 'sleeping music': superficiality. tragedical? yes. dramatical? yes, spooky? no. it means you havent understood anything of his music at all. getting mesmerized and understanding music are not the same thing.
