From a downtown studio in Toronto Canada, the electronic music artist Pronobozo is carving out his mark on the ever evolving music industry. With over 1,000,000 free mp3 downloads, Pronobozo has set positive expectations for other aspiring Creative Commons (CC) artists.

Pronobozo released his second album entitled “Hackwave” on March 2nd of 2010. His music can be found on the popular ski film “Every Day is a Saturday” by Poorboyz productions, the comedy series “Pure Pwnage” on SHOWCASE, and the hit tech show “Hak5” on Revision3.

The energy-packed music by Pronobozo is supported by many communities ranging from hackers to ninjas to gamers. Nathan Barris from the famous “3Run” Parkour and Free Running group, Chris Mark from the highly skilled Martial Arts Team “Team Ryouko and 2X”, Jeffery Ong an award winning stunt performer, and many more, have contributed to over 3 million YouTube views containing Pronobozo music.

Even though his music is available for free, there have been thousands of worldwide sales through iTunes and AmazonMP3, it even held a spot in Amazons Top 100 electronic albums list. Through this example of sharing and trust, Pronobozo strives at using the CC license as a way to enable the relationship between Artist, Label, and Listener to be more positive and fair.
