Do you want the same ol’ shit or is your heart in need of the new? Known Unknown, an upcoming release by Tierra Records, is the debut platter by tech-house producer, DJ, remixer extraordinaire Jake Childs’ newest project POSR.
Half sweaty, loved-up dance monster, half dark thrash leviathan, POSR comes to the party with a DJ’s beats and timing and a punk’s sense of danger and disregard for conventions. It’s the juxtaposition of punk rock and dance music that makes this so sweet … one hand in each world, the merge and clash of cultures, the lucidity and harmony in disharmony. The result, in a word, is thrilling—and fun.
Pushed to the fore by multi-instrumentalist Childs’ bullhorn vocals and killer lyrics, POSR shows are a wild, wasted, torridly sexed-up experience not to be missed.
