Biography

Founders and the only unvariable members of PinkRoom are Mariusz Boniecki and Marcin Kledzik. During many years band has experienced many changes - with us played Tomek Sanigórski (guit), Daniel Karwicki (bass) and Kacper Ostrowski (bass), who was bass-player the longest in band’s history and influenced many of our songs. He is a guest player on “Psychosolstice”, which was registered after he left the band at the beginning of 2008.

Our assumption right from the beginning was to wait with concerts till our debut album. We started with two guitar players and drums, but unfortunately most of themes created that time has never been published to the large audience. The biggest part of our debut “Psychosolstice” was created during last 2 years.

It is sincerity which is important in our music. The example of spontaneously created song may be „2AM”, which big part is just replayed 30-minute composition previously coincidently registered during one of rehearsals. Many of songs seem to have close structure but in fact they include fragments which can be beginnings of improvisation while creating mood on concerts. Now we prepare ourselves to debut and look for „new” musicians to play concerts with.

Listened Psychosolstice through at your website and enjoyed it very much. Warm sound, mellow passages and a few rough edges here and there. A touch of Tool and some similarities to other Polish acts like Mariuz Duda's works. Consider me as a fan. Keep at it!

Honestly I very rarely even hear Porcupine Tree in their music. I hear a pretty big King Crimson influence (especially on Moondroom v2), and maybe a little bit of Riverside.. but that's mostly coming from the vocal style.
