Leeds, United Kingdom (2003 – 2007)

Penknifelovelife (is what you get when Deftones meets Bring me the Horizon; as described by their label) was a band from Leeds, United Kingdom that formed in 2003. On November 12th 2006, Ross Kenyon (Vocals) played his final show for the band, and moved to Los Angeles to join Confide, putting the band on hiatus. Jake Greenwood (Bass) also left at this time, and started the Pop-Punk band summerlin.

After being in California for two months, Ross was forced to leave for England again, as he was unable to obtain citizenship. Around 10th December 2006, Adam Phillips was recruited as the new frontman, however, in early 2007, Ross, upon his return to the UK, rejoined the band. Several months later this, Ross departed for California once again citing that God wanted him in California while in tears, and has rejoined Confide. Thus finally confirming the demise of Penknifelovelife.

The final line-up consisted of:
Ross Kenyon - Vocals
Luke Shuttleworth - Guitar
Daniel Hamer - Guitar
John Rees - Bass
Jacob Grace - Drums

Previous members were:
Gary Parkinson
James Gabitas
