This is the last really, really great song of Montreal made. Has anything since come close?

I really feel like this is the peak of their entire career. Nothing will ever top this.

When the horns blast its such a sweet transition from the previous track... I was at one of their shows around the same time this came out, they did the songs back to back like on the album, and with the whole elaborate theatrical production they do it was sooo amazing

The first two minutes or so of this song is the best bit of the album, and that's saying something. This album has a lot of good bits.

probably the weakest of montreal song I've heard. sounds like your typical average predictable "indie" stuff from the mid-00s. some decent parts but the horns are horribly mediocre for someone like kevin barnes.

Isn't there a very similar horn section in a Broken Social Scene song? Or at least some other band.

PLEASE DON'T READ THIS. YOU WILL BE KISSED ON THE NEAREST POSSIBLE FRIDAY BY THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE.TOMORROW WILL BE THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE. NOW YOU'VE STARTED READING THIS. DON'T STOP. THIS IS SO FREAKY. 1. say your name 10 times 2. say your mom's name 5 times 3. say your crushes name 3 times 4. paste this to 5 other songs. if you do this, your crush will kiss you on the nearest Friday. but if you read this and do not paste this, then you will have very bad luck. SEND THIS TO 5 SONGS IN 143 MINUTES. WHEN YOU'RE DONE PRESS F6 AND YOUR CRUSH'S NAME WILL APPEAR IN BIG LETTERS ON THE SCREEN. THIS IS SO FREAKY BECAUSE IT ACTUALLY WORK :)

As is always the case with of Montreal, the lyrics to this song are so powerful that you can't help but respect their genius

I'm not sure I'd even call the named sections of this album 'songs', but this is certainly my favorite section of the the album.
