About this album

Released in 2005, The Sunlandic Twins is the seventh album, considered to continue the electronic elements of their music that was featured in 2004’s Satanic Panic in the Attic.

Initial pressings of the CD included a bonus five track EP. Wraith Pinned to the Mist (and other games) was used—with altered lyrics—for an Outback Steakhouse commercial, as well as for the movie Cloverfield. Everyday Feels Like Sunday was used in a NASDAQ commercial.

The album artwork, as with the previous six albums, was contributed by David Barnes, Kevin Barnes’ brother.

Love this album. Infectious & totally danceable, mixed with sadness.

"This is one of those albums that never leaves your head." I have to agree. I remember listening to this album almost 5 years ago and being slightly obsessed with it for some time, and then I moved on to other stuff, but the atmosphere of TST has been following me around. Fucking weird dance music and very perceptive and intelligent lyrics, I must say.

First music I listened to while high. Needless to say, I am still a big fan. GOOD STUFF.

The first 9 songs are incredible. After that, not so much. Still a wonderful album.

the second half doesn't flow nearly as well as the first but it's nothing to be dismissed! I was a landscape in your dream, oslo in the summertime and the repudiated immortals are great, moody songs that stand with the best on the album. This is one of those albums that never leaves your head.
