My first OM album, discovered entirely by chance in a 2nd hand store. Listening now, it still cracks me up/saddens me to this day x

One of my favourite of Montreal album covers, but holy shit is it one of their weakest music-wise.

I agree with the three comments under me, except that Skeletal lamping amazingly awesome because of its experimentation, and also that in my mind this is one of the best OM albums ever.

i probably enjoy the older stuff like this more than their skeletal lamping album, it just has a good vibe to it. the newer stuff is too experimental.

This album keeps reminding me of Magical Mystery Tour with each listen; somewhere between the wind and brass instruments, old-time style piano, swung tempo sections, cute lyrics, sleepy sighs, and beautiful simplicity lies a Beatles reference. Anyone get that vibe?

This album is easily the worst of Montreal album, but look at their other stuff and its easy to see why.

Very underrated. It's got some of their best songs.
