Biography

Back in 1987, when neoblaze was 6 years old, his parents bought him a Nintendo Entertainment System. Stuck for hours on end in front of the television screen, the sounds of the NES slowly but surely started to take root inside his mind.

In the early 1990’s, he discovered that you could actually download video game music (midi and tracked modules) from the internet… directly into your computer! Naturally, Cubic Player and Mod4Win became everyday applications.

In 1996, neoblaze attempted his first very own tracked module, using FastTracker 2.06. Needless to say, it was nothing to be called music. Nevertheless, the years passed by, FastTracker 2.08 was released, and he continued making music for a group called Infinite Zero. After a number of months the group disbanded, and neoblaze was flying solo again.

Today, neoblaze is mostly about the chiptunes. He has a strong passion for the old NES music, and loves playing/working with its beautiful waves. However, he also releases other types of electronica from time to time.
